LPS Students Exhibit Business Knowledge and Leadership Skills at FBLA Conference

The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) 2015 State Leadership Conference was held in Vail, Colorado from April 23rd to the 25th. A Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO), FBLA emphasizes postsecondary readiness for students interested in business or business education, while developing valuable leadership skills. Students from all three of the Littleton Public Schools high schools participated.

Arapahoe High School had 31 students compete with 17 students placing Top Five in the state in various competitive categories. Arapahoe also had five students qualify for Nationals. Heritage High School had 7 students compete with two students placing second in the state in their competitive category and qualifying for Nationals. Littleton High School had 14 students compete with eight placing Top 10 in the state in various categories. Four Littleton students placed Top 5 in the state and qualified for Nationals.

The 2015 National Leadership Conference will be held in Chicago, Illinois in June.
