Colorado’s Destination Imagination Middle School Regional and State Scientific Champion Team, the Slay Squad, are from Powell Middle School in Littleton, Colorado. They won first place in both the regional and state tournaments with their main challenge, a presentation about the Atlas moth as well as their instant challenge competition. The Slay Squad Team worked hard for many months creating their presentation, props and practicing instant challenges in preparation for the competition. They are the only team from Littleton Public Schools going on to the Destination Imagination Global Tournament at the University of Tennessee.
On Sunday, May 1st they are having a fundraiser at Casa Caliente Restaurant & Cantina from 11 am to 9 pm. The team will receive 20% of all sales from anyone who mentions that they are there for the Destination Imagination Team fundraiser.
