Arapahoe County Sheriff Tyler Brown had a new assistant April 10 when Peabody first grader Christopher W. joined Brown as his “Sheriff for the Morning,” getting to tour the Sheriff’s Office, touring the 911 Call Center and checking out the new Bearcat armored vehicle.
Christopher’s parents won the visit for their son during a Peabody Elementary fundraising auction. In addition to meeting one of the special K-9 patrol dogs, Christopher said the best part of the morning was getting to eat “a lot of free doughnuts.” To see more of his visit, check out the story on the ACSO Facebook page.
