Fourth and fifth grade teams from across the district participated in the 2017 LPS Math Olympiad on April 18th. Throughout the school year, these teams of math “experts” met weekly to develop their skills in mathematics and to stimulate their enthusiasm for the subject.
4th Grade Winners:
- 1st Place – Wilder Elementary
- 2nd Place – Lenski Elementary and Peabody Elementary (tie)
- 3rd Place – Field Elementary
5th Grade Winners:
- 1st Place – Lenski Elementary and Wilder Elementary (tie)
- 2nd Place – Franklin Elementary
- 3rd Place – Hopkins Elementary and Sandburg Elementary (tie)
