DENVER, Colo. May 19, 2016 – Goodwill Industries of Denver will celebrate the opening of its 30th retail location in Castle Rock on Saturday, June 4. The new store is located at 355 Barranca Drive, right off Founders Pkwy, and will house a thrift store and a donation area.
Goodwill will host a grand opening celebration for the whole community on Saturday June 4. The store will open early at 8 a.m. for the celebration, and there will be snacks and refreshments provided to shoppers throughout the day. There will also be free kid-friendly entertainment including a face-painter, bag toss and a D.J. Shoppers can also enter a raffle to win several prizes that will be announced every hour, including two chances to win an iPad mini!
At all Goodwill stores, shoppers can expect to find gently used clothing, accessories, household goods and more. 90 cents from every dollar sold in stores funds Goodwill Denver’s career-focused community programs that help at-risk youth, struggling adults and individuals with disabilities across the metro area and northern Colorado.
The store’s regular hours will be 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Sunday. In addition to the 29 other retail stores, Goodwill Denver operates three Outlet Worlds, the Déjà Blue boutique in Cherry Creek, several donation centers, and ten Career Connection Centers across the metro area and northern Colorado.
